Tectonic, by CoreOS, Is GA

Today is a big day for us here at CoreOS. Tectonic, our Universal Kubernetes Solution to deploy, manage and secure containers, is now generally available. Powering Tectonic are many of our open source projects including: CoreOS Linux, etcd, rkt, flannel and dex. And we are excited to continue working with the open source community and Tectonic customers to build these important projects for containers, distributed systems and app-first infrastructure.
CoreOS Expands to Europe
We are also announcing our first European office will open later this year in Berlin. If you are based in Berlin and interested in developing app-first infrastructure software we would like to hear more: contact us at careers@coreos.com or stop by our CoreOS meetup on November 4. Also, several members of the team will be at the first systemd conference, systemd.conf, November 5-7, 2015, in Berlin later this week.

Joe Beda Now an Advisor
Joe Beda, a founder of Google Compute Engine and who helped to found Kubernetes, recently joined CoreOS as an advisor. We are excited to have his support and guidance.

CoreOS Enterprise Registry is Now Quay Enterprise
A final announcement today is that CoreOS Enterprise Registry is now Quay Enterprise. Quay Enterprise is available either as a standalone product, or delivered as an application when you purchase Tectonic.
Today’s announcements are important milestones for consistent, secure and manageable server infrastructure for everyone. The CoreOS Open Source projects are an important part of this style of infrastructure and we are excited to share these major milestones about Tectonic and Quay with you.
