Enterprise Kubernetes Experts To Unite at Tectonic Summit 2016

Today we are announcing additional speakers, sponsors, and the first look at the second annunal Tectonic Summit's agenda. The December 12 and 13 event by CoreOS will bring together those who have led the charge forward in Kubernetes, leading visionaries who are implementing Kubernetes within their companies, and technological leaders who are changing the way we deploy, secure and build infrastructure. Last year we explored the potential Kubernetes could bring to enterprises, and just a year later, we have companies talking about how they are using Kubernetes in production.

At Tectonic Summit 2016 we will discuss how Kubernetes came to be and where it is going in the enterprise:

One of the founders of Kubernetes, Brendan Burns (@brendandburns), will be joining us to tell us the origin story of Kubernetes.
Kelsey Hightower (@kelseyhightower), a Kubernetes evangelist since the beginning, will tell us his vision on where he sees the future of Kubernetes in the enterprise.

We will also highlight how enterprises are using Kubernetes today from companies as varied as Salesforce, Ticketmaster, Major League Soccer, Planet, and DigitalOcean:

Paul Brown (@paulrbrown), VP of engineering at Salesforce, will discuss Salesforce use of Kubernetes as a foundation for a multi-tenant data infrastructure.
Justin Dean (@justinmdean), SVP, platform and technical operations at Ticketmaster, will discuss Ticketmaster's public cloud strategy and how Kubernetes plays a key role.
Brian Anzar, director of engineering at Major League Soccer, will sit down with Loris Degioanni, CEO of Sysdig, to discuss monitoring Kubernetes at Major League Soccer.
Troy Toman (@troytoman), director of engineering at Planet, will talk about how Planet is managing 6 petabytes of earth imagery with Kubernetes at Planet.
Joonas Bergius (@joonas), engineering manager at DigitalOcean, will discuss how DigitalOcean went all in on Kubernetes and the journey from adoption to production.
Nishi Davidson (@nishidavidson), director, cloud architecture & engineering at SAP, will tell us more about the results SAP is seeing by using Kubernetes.
Dan Kohn (@dankohn1), executive director of Cloud Native Computing Foundation, will also sit down with a variety of organizations to discuss how the industry is embracing cloud native technologies.

Since Kubernetes helps with portability between data center and clouds, we will have the world's leading industry technology providers such as Google Cloud Platform, Intel, and AWS join us at Tectonic Summit.

With the launch of Kubernetes 1.5 at the beginning of December, David Aronchick (@aronchick), senior product manager at Google, will celebrate the accomplishments of the Kubernetes community.
Intel, an active member of the Kubernetes community, will also kick off day one. Jonathan Donaldson (@jdonalds), VP, data center group & GM, software defined infrastructure at Intel, will give the opening keynote.
Brandon Chavis, solutions architect at Amazon Web Services, will also speak about Kubernetes on AWS.

Last but not least, leaders from CoreOS will take the stage to show and inspire you about the future world with Kubernetes. Alex Polvi, CEO of CoreOS, Brandon Philips, CTO of CoreOS and Brian "Redbeard" Harrington will be our guides through the two day summit that explores what Kubernetes is today and where it will be tomorrow.
