Tectonic Pre-Installed: Next Generation Infrastructure Delivered to Your Data Center

Today at Tectonic Summit, Jonathan Donaldson, Vice President, Data Center, at Intel announced Snap, a new open source telemetry framework developed by Intel. We are excited about this new open source framework from Intel and the possibilities for Tectonic.
Also today at Tectonic Summit, delivering on the announcement made at CoreOS Fest back in May and on the heels of the release of Tectonic in general availability, Intel, Supermicro and Redapt are bringing a full Tectonic solution to market that is ready to be installed in your data center. Redapt will deliver and set up Supermicro servers with Tectonic pre-installed, so companies can begin to experience the power of Kubernetes, CoreOS and Distributed Trusted Computing quickly. Together, Intel, Redapt, Supermicro and Tectonic by CoreOS provide a turnkey container-based solution for application development and deployment. Running on Intel architecture, the Tectonic platform provides a robust starting point for IT organizations moving to container-based infrastructure, while Redapt helps integrate the platform into the existing data center.
Once installed in the data center, developers can immediately begin writing distributed micro-service applications using container technology. They can also define infrastructure requirements in the software, and then deploy applications and infrastructure at the same time using the same process. Tectonic gives developers the ability to quickly define, visualize, deploy, and iterate complex container-based micro-service architectures.
