Introducing Kubernetes Workshops and Tectonic Summit

In addition to launching the Tectonic Preview today we are launching Kubernetes workshops and our inaugural Tectonic Summit. This is an effort to help you make the most out of complex distributed systems technologies, as well as give you insight into how companies are achieving the most in the world of containers.
Kubernetes Workshops
In our workshops, brought to you by Google and Intel, you will learn more about Kubernetes, CoreOS, Docker and rkt and leave knowing Kubernetes Core Concepts, how to enable and manage key cluster add-ons such as DNS, monitoring, and the UI, how to configure nodes for the Kubernetes networking model and how to managing applications with Kubernetes deployment patterns.
Join Kelsey Hightower, product manager, developer and chief advocate at CoreOS, as he kicks off the first workshops on August 5 in Portland, August 7 in Seattle and August 10 in San Francisco. There are a limited number of seats in each class to ensure that you get one-on-one time with Kelsey, so be sure to register early to ensure your seat. Tectonic Summit
On December 2 and 3 we will take over New York City for an enterprise-focused event, where we will take a magnifying glass look at how companies are transforming their infrastructure by using containers. The first day includes engaging conversations, fireside chats and panels with companies about their container war stories and successes, while the second day offers container technology trainings and roundtables to provide leaders with the background to make their companies achieve success with Kubernetes, CoreOS, Docker and rkt.
