CoreOS is taking over New York City this week with Tectonic Summit, our first ever leadership event for container infrastructure. We have a week full of events for our New York City community as well as anyone attending Tectonic Summit, December 2-3 at the TimesCenter. We hope you’ll join us at one or many of the events below.
Tuesday, December 1 at 6 p.m. ET
Get ready for all things CoreOS and Kubernetes at the pre-Tectonic Summit meetup starting at 6 p.m. ET! Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
If this is your first meetup with CoreOS, be sure to get there on time for an overview of CoreOS with our CTO, Brandon Philips (@BrandonPhilips). We will also have talks from our team about Clair, the new open source project for scanning vulnerabilities in containers, and about how to start using Kubernetes with CoreOS.

Wednesday, December 2 at 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. ET
We kick off Tectonic Summit on Wednesday. Be sure to get there early to grab your badge and head over to the keynote with Alex Polvi (@polvi), CEO of CoreOS, beginning at 9 a.m. ET. As a reminder, you must have a ticket for entry to the event.
All attendees are also welcome to join an on-site reception at Tectonic Summit at 5 p.m., brought to you by Intel.
Wednesday, December 2 at 7 p.m. ET
We will celebrate day one of Tectonic Summit at the after party. This event is put together by Packet, and brought to you by CoreOS, Datera and Project Calico. Be sure to RSVP here, and kick off December with a bang as the technology community comes together.
Thursday, December 3 at 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET
Day two of Tectonic Summit will dive into the container technologies companies can use today. Come hear from container experts from Samsung, Cisco, Swisscom, Sysdig and Project Calico.
And don’t skip breakfast (it is the most important meal of the day, after all) – we have a special pancakes-and-podcast menu planned for you. Join Joab Jackson (@Joab_Jackson) as he leads a panel of container leaders for The New Stack, over short stacks and syrup.
Thursday, December 3 at 7 p.m. ET
